If needed students can contact individual research groups at the second year university to inform themselves about possible topics, based on which they make a final decision on the topic of their choice.  At the May workshop first year students can also ask information about the thesis topics to the university responsibles. Students select a topic and inform the supervisor, the local coordinator of the university where he/she is studying and the program coordinator.
