Erasmus Mundus scholarships are available for researchers who want to carry out research and teaching assignments and scholarly work for the Erasmus Mundus Masters in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology.
Visiting scholars from non-EU countries are defined as:
- nationals coming from all countries other than the 27 EU Member States, the EEA-EFTA states (Island, Liechtenstein and Norway) and the candidate countries for accession to the EU (presently Turkey)
- who are not residents of any of the above countries
- who have not carried out their main activities (studies, work, etc.) for more than a total of 12 months over the last five years in any of the above countries.
The application deadline is January 1.

As a scholar you could visit one of the 4 Partner universities to do research, give lectures.The maximum period is 3 months.
Scholarships are provided by the European Commission and cover travel and living expenses for a working assignment of maximum 3 months. The amount of living allowance (including travel costs) varies from €2400 for a 2-week stay to €14800 for a 3 month stay (€1200/week).
