Exams and Pass-Fail Criteria

Exams and pass-fail criteria

Exams take place in the sessions organized by the local partner university, according to the rules of the university.

The ects-credits are gained for the course if the student passes the exam, according to the rules of the local university.

If the student obtains more ects-credits, credits can only be transferred to the next year if the excess represents a full course.

Students who do not pass the exam of the course, can get 1 or more retakes in the same academic year, according to the rules of the local university.

The student obtains the double Master diploma if he/she has obtained minimum 120 credits in total and minimum 54 credits at each of both universities where he/she is following the program.

If the student did not obtain his/her 60 credits at the university where he/she started the master, the extra courses that he/she will follow at the university were he/she will finish the master are either defined by the university where he/she started the master, in case the failed course was a core course, or can be chosen from elective courses of the university where he/she will finish the master, in case the failed course was an elective course."

In case a student does not obtain his 120 credits at the end of year 2 or the 54 credits at each university he can either leave the program, or he has to re-register for a third year for the missing credits.
